SHAFAQNA denounces terror attack in Kabul – offers solidarity to Hazara community

SHAFAQNA -Following a twin explosion which tore through a demonstration by members of Afghanistan’s mainly Shi’ite Hazara minority in Kabul this Saturday, Shafaqna wanted to extend its condolences and prayers to the family of the victims.

Terror once more targeted Shia Islam – further proof of the ignominy of its actions.

An abomination onto Islam, it is Wahhabism dogma which guided the hands of radicals, it is Wahhabism we ought to denounce, condemn and reject as an aberration, and a devolution.

“Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” (Quran, 5:32)

So sad for Hazara community, their sacrifice has been enormous throughout Afghan and Pakistan. Once again, the community is more reactive than active. We probably need a master plan for ensure nothing like this happens and if god forbid it happens, we should have plans to rehabilitate the victims. My heart bleeds for the orphans, widows, injured and dead victims and I pray to almighty for justice. Hope the strength of Hazaras will overcome grief and their reward for the sacrifice will be with almighty.

I ask almighty to curse the perpetrators, their supporters, masters and we wait for the day of judgement when our Imams will plead almighty for the justice.

This is great tragedy but the greatest was in Karbala, that gives us strength. I support the people Baghdad and elsewhere who are repeatedly under terrorist attacks.
