SHAFAQNA – The United Nations says suspected cholera cases have risen into the thousands in Yemen, less than a month since the outbreak of the disease.
The UN says there’s now seven-thousand-seven hundred suspected cases in a dozen govern-orates in Yemen. According to the international body, the number of the cases has risen by 27 percent over the past week alone. The UN blames the situation on the ongoing Saudi war which has weakened Yemen’s health system.
