Takfiri terrorists assassinate Allama Nawaz Irfani in Islamabad

SHAFAQNA – Top Shia Scholar Allama Nawaz Irfani assassinated in Islamabad on Wednesday after state sponsored takfiri terrorists of Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat attacked on him in Islamabad, The Shia Post reports.

Allama Nawaz Irfani was attacked by pro-ISIS terrorists of ASWJ when he was in his car in Sector E-11 area of the Federal Capital while returning from Parachinar, the capital of tribal Kurram Agency situated in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.

Martyred Allama Nawaz Irfani was central Mosque’s Chief and known leader of Parachinar. He was also senior member of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslmeen (MWM) Pakistan.

Initial reports suggest that Irfani, who had recently moved from Parachinar after serving as main cleric of the area’s major Imambargah, was gunned down by Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba terrorists in Islamabad’s E-11 sector.

Martyr’s body was later moved to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for postmortem.

Condemning the incident, MWM leader Allama Nasir Abbas and others demanded of the government to bring the culprits behind the killing to book in next 12 hours.

Shia Ulema Council (SUC) also condemned the attack, saying the government has given the militants a free hand to kill anyone they wish.
