Question: Is it allowed to take medicines mixed with some alcohol (for example 10%)?
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: It is not allowed; but you can mix the medicines in water to reduce the level of alcohol to minimum (for example 2% or less) which there is no problem in this case.
