SHAFAQNA – The 13th edition of Imam Reza (AS) International Festival will be held in 85 countries of the world, an Iranian official said.
Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), made the remark at a meeting of the festival’s policy-making council, adding that the international program will be held in all of the provinces in Iran as well as 220 cities around the world.
He said the festival is slated for August 16-26 and that the closing ceremony will be held in the holy city of Mashhad on the occasion of Imam Reza (AS) birth anniversary.
8 selected Razavi servants will be honored at the international section of the festival, Ebrahimi Torkaman also noted.
The 12th edition of international festival included various programs planned by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and held in cooperation with Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly, Iran’s Ministry of Education and Al-Mustafa International University, among others.
75 countries hosted the programs of the 12th edition, according to ICRO chief.
