SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Fayyaz answered a question about paying Khoms by a person who is not married.

Question: Can a person who is not married or does not own a house and is eligible to pay Khoms, do not pay the Khoms and save the money instead for marriage or to buy a house?

The Grand Ayatollah Fayyaz: Khoms on wealth/property is Wajeb after one year and does make any difference if the eligible person is married and has a house or not.
