SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Iran/Qom – In a meeting today, the Grand Ayatollah Safi, expressed his worries and anxiety about the harsh treatment of Muslims by the Chinese government. The Grand Ayatollah said: We are very uneasy and troubled about China’s position in this regard. The Chinese government for many years has been benefiting from Islamic countries and has close economic and trading ties with Muslims of the world. So, why should China treat Muslims harshly and make it difficult for them to perform their religious duties?
