SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi Zanjani answered a question about performing Salaat in the inherited property before dividing the inheritance.

Question: What is the ruling about performing Salaat by inheritors and others in the inherited house which belongs to some inheritors without the consent of all the inheritors?

The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi: Performing Salaat in the inherited property before dividing the inheritance, without the consent of the rest of the inheritors and/or without their heartfelt consent, and in the case of juniors without the consent of their religious guardians, is Haram and by way of precaution is void.
