The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answer to a question about the condition for dissection of body of a Muslim

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about the condition for dissecting the body of Muslim.
Question: Some organisations (forensics) in order to find the cause of death or murder, want to dissect the body of the deceased, is this allowed o when it is  forbidden?
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: The guardian of the deceased cannot permit for dissecting the body for the mentioned purposes and if it is possible, must prevent it unless it is for saving the life of a Muslim.
