The message of Imam Hussain’s (AS) movement (Part Four; Last part)

SHAFAQNA – In fact Moawiyeh did not believe in Islam but he had no choice and could not say unlike Yazid who started the events of Karbala and then said: There was nothing going on. Therefore, Imam Hussain (AS) saw that the oppression was coming into belief, morality, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and laws. Justice is not just for the issues regarding wealth, in fact the lowest justice is financial justice and the strongest justice is the divine justice.

A believing person does not get involved in dubious dealings and corruption or similar ways. If someone has access to public fund and is not worried to steal from it, is because he has problems of recognition; if he considers God present and if he understands that sin is poison and stinks and cannot be hidden; he never does anything that is morally wrong.

Imam Hussain (AS) realised that the time has come and his efforts will be effective, he wanted to stop bad deeds, by killing or being killed. Imam Sajjad (AS) said: We returned victorious. In Shaam (Damascus), Imam Sajjad (AS) said: We are victorious, Omayyads went to destroy Islam and we went to revive Islam and returned (victorious).

Translation of the speech by the Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli in Amol on 01/02/2005.
