SHAFAQNA – According to the holy Quran, all the prophets including the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) were responsible to lead a Halal life as mentioned in Ayah 51 of Surah Al-Momenoon: “O’ prophets, eat from clean things and act honourably, God is aware of anything you do.”

In addition, the Prophet of Islam like all the prophets before him (PBUH) had the responsibility to order people to a complete Halal lifestyle as well as forbidding all the Haram, as mentioned in Ayah 157 of Surah Al-A’araaf: “Those who follow the unlettered Messenger (meaning he was not educated by anyone else except God) and find his name written in Torah and Bible; the same Prophet who commands them to good deeds and forbids them the bad deeds. He declares for them all the clean things as Halal and all the unclean things as Haram and removes the burdens and obligations which had been laid on their shoulders. So, those who believe in him, revere him and help him and follow the light that is sent down with him, they are the ones who are saved.”
