SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – If the purpose of this life is to reach accomplishment for the hereafter, then it is a suitable way to prepare for the next permanent life with all its enjoyments. It should be remembered at all the times that, God and the hereafter are the targets and the life of this world is only a tool to be utilised for reaching those goals and this is what the prophets and Imams have stressed and produced plenty of reasons for those who want to find the right path.
The only reason that makes the difficult life of this world meaningful is that it is a facility provided for the human beings to reach the complete life of hereafter. In a well detailed narration, Imam Sajjad (AS) said: Friendship of this world is on top of all the mistakes and there are 2 aspects to this world; one is as a conveyer and the other as cursed. The conveyer world is the one which it will deliver a human being to his/her final goal and becomes a way of reaching the hereafter. And the cursed world will not take a person to his/her accomplishment; it just wastes the time and stops a human being from reaching the goal [1].
