Do true believers suffer in this world?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: O’ Ali, whoever loves you will be stricken with the enemy, whoever loves me will be stricken with poverty, and whoever loves God, will be inflicted with calamity [1]. It is also narrated from Imam Baqir (AS) who said: Indeed, God pleases the believer with calamity like the man who returns home and brings presents for his family. And God warns the believer to avoid the world (fall in love with it) as the doctor warns the patient to avoid certain things [2].
