SHAFAQNA – The ISIL terrorist group has hacked the US Central Command’s Twitter and YouTube accounts, and posted internal documents online.

The terror organization’s so-called Cyber Caliphate infiltrated the Twitter account on Monday and threatened American soldiers.

“AMERICAN SOLDIERS, WE ARE COMING, WATCH YOUR BACK. ISIS,” read a message posted on the Twitter account with the hashtag “CyberCaliphate.”

The group also sent out information, including a Pastebin link containing files, supposedly of sensitive Pentagon documents.

About an hour after the hack, the Twitter account was suspended.

A YouTube account belonging to CentCom was also hacked.

ISIL hackers posted propaganda videos on the CentCom’s YouTube feed. The account was also later disabled.

The Defense Department confirmed that the accounts were compromised.

“We can confirm that the U.S. Central Command’s Twitter and YouTube accounts were compromised earlier today. We are taking appropriate measures to address the matter,” a defense official told NBC News.
