SHAFAQNA – Iran’s president has warned that any violation of the nuclear deal with the P5+1 countries will not be tolerated and will trigger a reaction from Iran. Hassan Rouhani made the comment in response to the U-S Senate’s renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act, known as ISA. Rouhani was addressing Iranian lawmakers before submitting Iran’s annual budget. He said Iran considers even signing of the ISA into law as a breach of America’s commitments. The president said Iran will react to this based on laws passed by the parliament and guidelines of the Supreme National Security Council. Rouhani also stressed that Iran will never violate the JCPOA, but will act decisively in response to any delay in the implementation of the agreement, or its violation. On Thursday, the US Senate approved the renewal of the anti-Iran sanctions bill. It imposes strict restrictions on trade with Iran and investment in the country.
