What are the rewards for giving thanks to God?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: The reward for a person who eats something and then gives thanks (to God) is like the reward of a person who is fasting. And the reward of the one who has a healthy body and gives thanks (to God) is like the reward of an ill person who is patient; and the reward of the one who has is not needy and gives thanks (to God) is like the reward of the needy person who is content [1]. In another narration, Imam Sajjad (AS) said: Perfect is the God who considers admission to Divine Blessings as praise and acknowledgement of inability to give thanks for all Divine Blessings as giving thanks (to the Supreme Being) [2].
