SHAFAQNA –
It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: Allah (SWT) revealed to Prophet Dawood (AS): Love Me and also make My creatures love Me. Dawood (AS) asked: O’ Allah (SWT), I love You, but how can I make others to love You? Allah (SWT) replied: Remind them of my blessings and favours on them, because when you remind them of My blessings, they will love Me [1]. In another narration it has been mentioned that a man asked the Prophet of Islam (PBUH): I like my God be kind to me, what should I do? The Prophet (PBUH) replied: have pity on yourself and the creatures of God, so that you attain the Divine Kindness [2]. Anas ibn Malik narrated: Whenever, the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) did not see one of his companions for three days, he used to ask about him; if that person was not in the town, the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite Dua for him; if he was in town, he used to go and see him; and if he was ill, he used to visit him [3].
