SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about obtaining a qualification by cheating.

Question: What is the duty if a qualification is obtained by cheating which is effective in all aspects of a person’s life?

The Grand ayatollah Sistani: Cheating is Haram, but if from the point of view of expertise and ability of doing the job, the person is at a good level, the salary is halal. But if the person does not have the required expertise for doing the job, it is not allowed to accept the job.
