Who is a Shia?

SHAFAQNA – According to Quran and narrations, description of a believer and a Muslim are not the same. A believer is someone who is under absolute divine guardianship and has passed tests. Such a person is always careful not to do anything that is against the religion. Describing the characteristics of Shias, Imam Hussain (AS) pointed to the attributes of a believer.

For example, it is narrated that a man came to Imam Hussain (AS) and said: O’ the child of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), I am one of your Shias. Imam Replied: Be fearful of God; do not claim a thing so that God says you are lying and exaggerating. Our Shias are those whose hearts are absolutely free from any kind of fraud, deception and dishonesty; but you can say: I consider myself to be one of your friends [1]
