SHAFAQNA – Doing good deeds in secret remove any doubt of hypocrisy, showing off and issues like these and show the pure intention in doing good. The one, who carries out good deeds in secret, does so just for the sake of God and nothing else. Ayah 8 of Surah Al-Insaan says: They offer food to the needy, the orphan and the captive out of love for God. That is why, the infallible leaders used to do their good deeds in secret. Imam Ali (AS) in middle of the night without any one knowing or helping him, used to carry food on his back to deliver to the houses of the needy in Kufa \[1].
