Why the holy Quran must be understood and followed?

SHAFAQNA – In Ayah 82 of Surah Al-Asra, it is mentioned that: We sent down from the Quran mercy and healing for believers and nothing added to wrongdoers except loss (and damage). Therefore the holy Quran is a healing prescription. There are two stages to healing process; the first stage is that the prescription must be understood and the second stage is that the instructions in it must be followed. A person who is trapped in sins and ignorance is an ill person (illness of the heart, as mentioned in Quran and narrations) and is also lost. By acting on Quran’s instructions, that person will be healed and also guided.
