Yemen marks 600 days of Saudi blockade – the genocide the world refuses to see

SHAFAQNA – On Sunday rights activists will take Twitter by storm and denounce Saudi Arabia brutal assault on an entire people. For 600 days Yemen has been starved, bombed and ostracised on account it imagined itself an independent nation-state.

But Yemen is not done fighting. Human Rights for Yemen, an NGO headed by Kim Sharif, a British-based lawyer and rights activist has taken matters in its own hands as it prepares to sue Saudi Arabia for war crimes.
