What is the ruling on delaying to offer a sacrifice on the Day of Eid-ul-Adha?

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani answered a question about delaying to offer a sacrifice on the Day of Eid-ul-Adha.

Question: Is it allowed to delay to offer a sacrifice on the Day of Eid?

The Grand Ayatollah Vahid: It is allowed to delay until the end of Ayyam-ul-Tashriq, although it is better not to delay it from the Day of Eid. And according to Wajib precaution, Halq (shaving of the hair) must be after the sacrifice, and the order between Tawaf and Halq must be observed except due to forgetfulness and not knowing the decree.
