Why Eid-ul-Adha is so important?

SHAFAQNA – Eid-ul-Adha is an Eid which reminds the awakened human being about Ibrahimi sacrifice place, a place which teaches the lesson of sacrifice and Jihad to the children of Adam (AS) and chosen representatives of God. This father of Tawheed (monotheism) and idol destroyer (Prophet Ibrahim (AS)) taught us and all the human beings to give away the most precious fruit of their lives in the way of God and receive a present from God, sacrifice your lives and your dear ones and establish God’s religion and Divine Justice. He made the children of Adam (AS) to understand that Mecca and Mina are places of sacrifice for those who love God, and places of spreading Tawheed and rejecting Shirk (polytheism); as attachment to own life and dear ones is also Shirk [1].
