SHAFAQNA – Iqna: The 29th gathering of Shia Muslim scholars of Britain was held in London last Wednesday.
The Islamic Centre of England hosted the meeting, whose main topic of discussion was ways for optimal use of capacities of Islamic centers.
Speakers underlined the need for establishing Islamic schools and providing different services in Islamic centers to attract families and youths.
They also stressed the importance of Islamic propagation and the need for more efforts to promote Islam.
Significance of programs for the coming lunar months of Muharram and Safar and conveying the true message of Ashura to Shias and others was also underscored at the gathering.
