SHAFAQNA– Followers of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria hold their daily march in the capital Abuja, demanding unconditional and immediate release of their leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
The rally was held in the Garki district of Abuja for the third consecutive day since September 10 when Nigerian security forces killed at least a dozen of IMN members. They were killed in Kaduna, Bauchi, Gombe, Sokoto, and Katsina where people were observing Ashura processions.
Abuja protesters once again demanded the release of Shia scholar and leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife who have been detained by Nigerian authorities since the 2015 Zaria massacre.
