SHAFAQNA– French capital Paris is hosting the second exhibition of Ashura paintings by Iranian painter Hassan Rouholamin, titled “Hussein the ship of salvation”.
The young and talented Iranian painter staged his exhibition at Iran’s Cultural Center in Paris. The exhibition opened on Monday September 16 and will continue until Wednesday September 18. Rouholamin is to unveil a new painting during this event.
This is the second time that 34-year-old Hassan Rouholamin is putting his works on display in France. Last year he unveiled his new painting “the reason of the creation” during an event held at the invitation of France’s Islamic Center.
Most of Rouholamin’s paintings are about the scenes of the Battle of Karbala where Imam Hussein, his sons, brothers, Ahlul Bayt and his companions were martyred by the forces of Omayyad Caliph Yazid in 680 AD.
