SHAFAQNA– An Iranian lawmaker has slammed Germany, the United Kingdom and France for blaming Tehran over the drone and missile attacks from Yemen that knocked oud half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production.
Spokesman of the Councils and Domestic Affairs Committee at the Iranian parliament, Majles, told Shafaqna Farsi that Paris, Berlin and London are unable to take a step by their own and without Washington’s permission.
Asghar Salimi added even if the three EU countries show a sort of flexibility, it is definitely agreed with the United States, “the EU3 want to change the current atmosphere and prove they seek negotiation.” he noted.
Salimi urged President Hassan Rouhani and the Iranian diplomatic corps to take the opportunity at the United Nations General Assembly, explain the threats posed against the (security of the) Persian Gulf and the Middle East and clarify Iran’s message for other countries.
“The Islamic Republic (of Iran) has rejected any negotiation with the United States as unacceptable as long as Washington has not met its commitments. The US also knows it cannot impose more sanctions on Iran than it has already put in place and should drag itself out of the cesspool got stuck in”, Salimi explained to Shafaqna.
The Iranian MP finally approved of Tehran’s foreign policy but said we need to better administer domestic affairs in order to counter the problems created for Iran (by foreign countries.)
