SHAFAQNA– Iraqi Shia Scholar Seyed Hossein Qazwini has announced that Archbishop of Baptist Evangelical Church of Georgia, US Malkhaz Songulashvili will attend this year’s march of Arbaeen.
Qazwini who teaches Fiqh and Rijal at the Seminary of Karbala wrote on his Twitter account that Archbishop Songulashvili believes Jesus Christ and Imam Hussein have a lot in common.
This is the second year that the American Baptist reverend is attending the march of Arbaeen, which is in commemoration of 40 days after the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed’s grandson and third Shia Imam, Hussein bin Ali (A.S.).
Seyed Hossein Qazwini also wrote in another post that if religious leaders put their differences aside and work together peacefully for the sake of humanity, the world will be a much better place to live in.
