Israel’s gunboats shot Palestinian fishing boats in Gaza

SHAFAQNA- Iqna: A number of gunboats related to the Zionist regime, opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday morning.

The occupation boats opened heavy machine-gun around the fishing three nautical miles off the shore of Beit Lahia town, MENAFN reported.

No casualties were reported.

The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli blockade since June 2007.

It has caused a decline in the standard of living as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty.
