SHAFAQNA- Imam Husayn Holy Shrine announced its 90 percent readiness for hosting pilgrims attending the Arbaeen ritual ceremony.
Afzal al-Shami, deputy director of Imam Husayn Holy Shrine told Radio Almirbad “Most of the Arbaeen pilgrims are in Karbala city and we are 90 percent ready to host pilgrims.”
Afzal added Karbala has been hosting a high number of pilgrims since a few days ago, and the streets of the city, especially the streets near the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Husayn and his brother Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), are full of pilgrims. “We are 90 percent ready to accommodate the pilgrims and there are still things to be finalized,” he said.
