What is the ruling on using sound effects in religious ceremonies? The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi Zanjani answered a question about sound effects in religious ceremonies.

Question: What is the ruling on using sound effects in religious gatherings when they create volume and repeat and cause excitement in individuals, and in some cases lead the human being to come out of normal condition?

The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi: If it causes exultation and takes the human being out of moderation and leads to irrational actions, or contributes to disrespect of infallibles, or ceremonies for Ahlul Bait (AS), using and listening to it, is Haram; and in any other circumstances it is also appropriate that eulogies and mourning for Imams (AS) are suitable to their statures.
