SHAFAQNA – Imam Ali (AS) said: It is not appropriate that a mean person becomes a guardian and leader of dignity, life, booties and decrees of Muslims. Such a person must not occupy the position of Imam of Muslims in order to become greedy about their wealth, and the ignorant person does not deserve to become a leader to mislead Muslims with his ignorance; and the oppressor also cannot be the leader of people as he can ignore the rights of people and take away their things. And also the one without justice in distributing public wealth cannot be a leader because such person wastes people’s wealth and property, and give them to a group close to him. Also bribe taker judge cannot be a leader as he ignores the rights of others. And the one who ignores the tradition of the Prophet (PBUH) does not deserve to be a leader because such person destroys the Islamic Ummah [1].
