SHAFAQNA- The Arbaeen program held at the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County (IECOC ) in Costa Mesa, California on October 17th to 9th.
The program began at 7pm with Maghrib prayers followed by Dr. Mostafa al-Qazwini’s lecture.
On Thursday the 17th and Friday the 18th, the program was in English. On Saturday the 19th, the program was in Arabic.
Referring to commemorating the Arbaeen 2019 by Muslim faithfuls at IECOC, Dr. Mostafa al-Qazwini, Founding Imam of IECOC and the founder of Ahlulbayt Islamic Seminary of California wrote in a tweet: “No leader in the history of mankind is celebrated by millions of people the way Imam Husayn had been!”.
IECOC is a community striving to strengthen the faith of believers through the Holy Quran as defined & taught by the Holy Prophet & Ahlulbayt peace be upon them. Every year, the IECOC collects donations to provide for the Arbaeen pilgrims who are in need.
