SHAFAQNA- Arbaeen ceremony was held by Shia centers in various African countries including Madagascar, Congo, Niger, Burkina Faso, Tanzania and Comoros.
According to Shafaqna, the first gathering of Shia natives for Arbaeen in the city of Antananarivo, Madagascar was held by Al-Mustafa International University in collaboration with the Prophet Muhammad Center.
Arbaeen Day mourning was also held at various Shia centers in Tanzania.
In Nigeria, Shias mourned Arbaeen by holding ceremonies and lecturing at various centers.
Arbaeen ceremony was also held at the Burkina Faso’s Al-Mustafa International University.
The Shias of Comoros held a similar ceremony on Arbaeen Day.
