Ja’afari and Shafi’i jurisprudence seat established in Indonesia’s Islamic university

SHAFAQNAA new research center dedicated to Ja’afari and Shafi’i jurisprudence has opened at the Raden Fatah State Islamic University.

The Dean of Iran’s University of Religions and Denominations, Mohammad Hussain Mokhtari heading a delegation attended the inauguration ceremony.

He told the guests that this center will have a major role in comparative studies, research, and interfaith proximity. Professor Mohammad Shirazi the Dean of Raden Fatah thanked the Iranian university for sharing its experience with the Indonesian Islamic university.

Scientific and research cooperation between the two universities has expanded over the past two years that included holding joint conferences and academic exchanges. Iran and Indonesia also established a chamber of scientific cooperation.
