SHAFAQNA- On the occasion of Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A.S), the Islamic Center of England held various mourning ceremonies in Persian, Arabic, English and Urdu languages on October 19th, 2019.
Shias residing in London and surrounding cities from different nationalities, participated in the programs prepared to mourn for the Arbaeen.
After reciting the Ziyarat of Arbaeen, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour gave a lecture in Persian language to attendees and the lamentation was made by Haj Hamid Akbari.
Similar ceremonies were also held in separate meetings attended by English-speaking and Arabic-speaking Muslims at the Islamic Center of England, where Seyed Hashim Mousavi, the head of the Islamic Center of England and Sheikh Rashad al-Ansari, delivered their speech. Mullah Abbas Youssef and Mullah Mohammed Al-Ashtar also performed recitation and lamentation.
According to the report, for Urdu-speaking Muslims, there had been also arranged some programs 5 nights before Arbaeen, in which Hojatoleslam Sayyed Abbas Abedi, and Mr. Sayyed Abrar Hussaini mourned and commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (A.S).
