SHAFAQNA- “Since the return of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malamah Zeenah from the aborted medical trip to India, they have been held incommunicado and the only way to know of their health condition had been when their medical personnel were allowed to see them”, Suhaila Zakzaky announced.
In a statement, the daughter of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria said “the latest we know is that their health has continued to deteriorate since they are yet to receive the necessary treatments they are in dire need of”.
“For over the past three weeks several pre-arranged appointments for their medical personnel to check on them, have been derailed by Department of State Services (DSS). This is a very peculiar situation because it seems as though they are trying to keep something hidden and since even their doctors are unable to meet them, we are left with no choice but to assume the worst”, she added.
