SHAFAQNA – A new book called “Islam belongs to Germany” has been unveiled by Iran’s stall at the 71th annual Frankfurt Book Fair.
Head of Iran’s Consulate mission in Frankfurt, a number of Iranian and German cultural figures, and the mayor of the Iranian city of Yazd were present at the inauguration event.
The editor of Islamika Publication which has published this book has dismissed claims that Islam does not belong to Germany or Austria. He added that many documents that lead to the presence of Muslims across the federal Republic of Germany and Austria for many years, are published in this book.
He called Muslims as an inseparable part of German-Austrian history who contributed to science, philosophy, literature, poetry and culture of these countries. Islamic culture even had a role in creation of aristocratic families of Germany. We even see Islamic symbols in places of worship in Germany and Austria.
“Islam Belongs to Germany” is published in 2019 with 141 pages in city of Bremen by Professor Yavuz Ozaguz. The book has explained about Islamic historic sites and roots in Germany and Austria.
