SHAFAQNA- The Supreme Lebanese Shia Parliament announced that the ceremony for the tenth day of Muharram this year will be held through the cyberspace and the Facebook page of the Assembly due to the spread of the Coronavirus.
The parliament announced in a statement: The ceremony for the 10th of Muharram this year will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at 8:00 AM Lebanese time, under the supervision of the Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Lebanese Shia Parliament, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, at the parliament headquarters and through its Facebook page.
The parliament added that Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan will deliver a speech at the ceremony.
In a statement, the parliament apologized for not accepting the lovers of Aba Abdullah Al-Hussain (A.S) due to the difficult conditions caused by the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
Every year, the ceremony was attended by a large number of Lebanese Shia Muslims and with special enthusiasm, but this year, due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the event has been scheduled to be held virtually.
