Hosts of Arbaeen Pilgrims in Karbala Honored

Those who hosted and served Arbaeen pilgrims were honored in a forum titled “Organization of Husseini Servants” held in the holy city of Karbala.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Hojat-ol-Islam Gholamreza Abazari, Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq, also attended the forum.

Addressing the program, Sheikh Mazin Karbalayi, the head of the organization, said that the members of the group did their best to serve all pilgrims of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine on Arbaeen and the Iraqi people helped the group in this respect and hosted a large number of the pilgrims.

He said that more than 1000 homes and schools in the holy city hosted 70000 pilgrims.

The Iranian cultural figure also attended a meeting with the officials of the organization and discussed various aspects of this year’s Arbaeen ceremony.

He appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi people and expressed hope that the ceremony will be held as gloriously as possible in the future.

He also announced that Iran is ready to cooperate with the Iraqi officials in this respect.
