Mozambique’s Memorizer Youngest Contender in Sudan Int’l Quran Contest

Zakiya Abubakr is competing in the category of memorization of the entire Holy Quran, the website of Sudan’s Holy Quran Association reported.

She has learned the entire Holy Book in three narrations of Hafs, Shuba and al-Sousi.

Zakya Abubakr had an excellent performance in the contest and amazed the panel of judges by answering all the questions correctly and reciting the Quran beautifully.

Sudan’s 7^th international Holy Quran competition kicked off in the capital, Khartoum, on Wednesday, January 6.

It will run in two sections for men and women until Wednesday, January 13.

Quran memorizers from different Muslim and non-Muslim countries are present in the competition.

It is annually organized by Sudan’s Holy Quran Association.
