Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr – 12 Days to Arbaeen

SHAFAQNA – On February 11, 2016 supporters of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr will organize a grand protest to mark his passing, and voice together their rejection of tyranny.

Sheikh al-Nimr Arbaeen commemoration will serve as a stepping stone to a global movement against religious oppression, and injustice. A man of peace and justice, a man of God and compassion, Sheikh al-Nimr was a voice amid suffocating darkness.

In a country where the elite holds the life of its people in the palm of its hands, Sheikh al-Nimr rose a Titan in protection of those who lacked courage and inspiration.

For he loved all people, for his fight and ambition were that his people be set free from the shackles of slavery, Sheikh al-Nimr’s life was stolen from his chest.

While his lips will no longer speak, his words will remain – the enduring testimonies of Qatif’s bravery.

Supporters of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr are called to partake in February 11, 2016 event.
