SHAFAQNA- The Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine in Karbala, Iraq, has organized the new edition of a national course for training Quran teachers.
According to the website of the center, 180 teachers from different parts of Iraq have taken the course.
Ali Ubud Al-Tayi, head of the Quran Education Center affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran Center said that the participants are from Babil Governorate, Diwaniyah, Karbala, Al-Musayyib and Saddat al-Hidiyah.
The course has been organized in line with the educational programs of the center aimed at disseminating the Quranic culture in the society.
Seminars on Tajweed principles, Arabic phonology, recitation principles and Arabic grammar are among the programs of the course.
The Seyyed Al-Awsiya Hall of the holy shrine is hosting the educational Quranic program and the participants will be granted certificates.
