SHAFAQNA- Irish government takes legal action against the UK over controversial law ending new investigations into crimes committed over decades of conflict in Northern Ireland and is likely to grant immunity to perpetrators.
Irish Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar announced the decision on Wednesday (20Dec. 2023) saying that the federal case will be brought before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.
