At what time the Salaat of Eid-ul-Adha (Eid Qorban) must be performed? The Grand Ayatollah Makarem’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi answered a question about the time for performing Salaat of Eid-ul-Adha.

Question: At what time the Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Salaat of Eid-ul-Adha must be performed?

The Grand Ayatollah Makarem: The time to perform Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Salaat of Eid-ul-Adha starts from beginning of sun rise until noon, but it is recommended (Mostahab) to perform Salaat of Eid-ul-Adha after sun rise. For Eid-ul-Fitr it is recommended to do Iftar after sun rise, and pay Zakat-ul-Fitrah, and then perform Salaat of the Eid.
