Shafaqna English- The Iran U20 Greco-Roman national wrestling team decisively claimed the championship title at the U20 Asian Championships held in Thailand on Sunday (21 July 2024), Mehr News reported.
The U20 Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team won the title with an impressive haul of 6 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
Iran achieved the top spot in the team ranking with a total of 206 points, while Kazakhstan came in second with 185 points, and Kyrgyzstan took third place with 141 points.
This marked the second title earned by Iranian wrestlers, following the victory of the Iranian U15 junior Greco-Roman wrestling team in the same event on July 17.
