Question: What kind of eulogy is allowed in gatherings for Ahlul Bait (AS), and what points eulogists must observe?
The Grand Ayatollah Makarem: Poems which are used by eulogists must be according to authentic and famous sources, and weak or non-authentic subjects must not be mentioned; poems be epic and keep alive the heroic spirit in youths, and avoid inappropriate themes and subjects which do not suit the position of Imams (AS), and they must try to use worthy and respectful methods in order not to cause any weakness in gatherings for Imam Hussain (AS).
