UNRWA: Gaza’s children are living in trauma after 300 days of war

Shafaqna English- The children of Gaza are living in trauma and shock due to 300 days of war, displacement, loss, and pain, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said. They witnessed what no child should witness, UNRWA’s Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a post on X platforms.

Through sports, arts, drama, games and creating space to reunite with friends and making new ones, our teachers are providing a ray of light amid the darkness, the post reads. “It’s a small contribution to help children reconnect with their robbed childhood.” “Children of Gaza deserve safety. Once again, we call for a ceasefire now for their sake and all children across the region,” he added.
