Shafaqna English- The draw for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 was held on Thursday (29 Aug 2024) at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, Anadolu Agency reported.
The tournament will now feature 36 teams, up from the traditional 32, with the top eight advancing to the knockout stages.
The teams that finish in positions 9th through 24th will compete in a two-legged playoff. The winners of this playoff will earn a spot in the final 16 of the event. The final match is scheduled to be held at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on 31 May 2025.
